Government Monies
Money is generated from the number of students qualifying for free/reduced lunches and textbook reimbursement. These government funds are used for programs such as Jump Start for ISTEP. We encourage families to fill out this paperwork if you think you qualify for these programs.
Textbooks
If you are applying for textbook reimbursement, you must apply by October 15, 2008.
Your child/children do not need to take the free & reduced lunch in order for you to qualify for textbook reimbursement. However, the application is the same for both programs. You are encouraged to apply for the textbook reimbursement if you think you qualify.

Criminal History Check
Under Indiana law, Diocesan schools have the right to obtain limited criminal history information about any volunteer who will have contact with, care of, or supervision over enrolled students. By agreeing to volunteer at a Fort Wayne/South Bend Diocesan school, a person acknowledges that he/she will be subject to such a criminal background check. Before being placed in a volunteer position such as playground monitor, classroom helper, cafeteria helper or field trip chaperone, you must go through this process.
If you are planning to volunteer in any of the areas mentioned above, and do not currently have a check on file, please notify Mrs. Beery in writing that you want like to start the process. All volunteers MUST view the Diocesan “Safe Environment Training” DVD. We will be showing this to parents during the “Back to School Night” which is scheduled for August 26th.
