We loved seeing Jayden's motorcycle and loved hearing all about some of his favorites!
We loved spending time with all the Very Important People in our lives! Just in case you couldn't come to visit us, we wanted to say....
Last week we celebrated Hannah Baker! I apologize for this being up late. I was so sure it was posted. We loved reading The Pout-Pout Fish together on Friday!
We had a surprise visitor today in Kindergarten. Johnny Appleseed decided to pop in and read us a book for his birthday!
This week we learned all about Grace Baker! What a wonderful leader she was this week and even helped out Mrs. Porter while I was away at a conference. Thank you, Grace!
Kindergarteners chose and graphed their favorite pattern blocks. They then spent time analyzing the graph answering questions about most and fewest!
After reading Eric Carle's book Pancakes! Pancakes! and learning all about Cass's love of cooking, we took on a recipe of our own! The Kindergartners loved following our very own recipe to make pancakes. With many helpers we worked on following directions in order. We decided we love pancakes!!!! Even the ones where you need more than mix and water! They are delicious!
We are graphing! Kindergarteners enjoyed finding out which color of teddy bear was the class favorite!
The Kindergarteners play!
Last week we received a package and Kindergarten! We were very excited to see what was inside! We found 6 chrysalis and 14 caterpillars. We have been making observations in our Butterfly Journals. Today we have 6 Butterflies in Kindergarten. we can't wait to see what happens Monday!
Join us as we explore rainbows. Keep checking back for more rainbow fun!
Thank you so much for all that came and those who helped out!
Kindergartners enjoyed preparing for Easter by decorating eggs with their 8th grade Guardian Angels!
This week we learned about the 3 states of matter. We loved learning about solids, liquids, and gases. We made observations during our "Life Cycle of a Snowman" experiment. We built our snowman out of solids, exposed him to heat where he became a liquid, and then he eventually evaporated and became a gas. It may be a toss up between this experiment and our root beer float experiment of which we liked best. Ask your child to see which one was his or her favorite!
